episode157

This week’s special guest is Cradle of Filth vocalist Dani Filth. We talk about his new book, Gospel of Filth, as well as his music, other people’s music, horror, zombies, and more.

I went to the Eerie Horror Film Festival this past weekend, where I got to see the very hyped independent zombie movie Colin. I’ll tell you what I thought of it, and whether it’s worthy of everything they’ve been saying about it. Also, the zombie short right before it, Deadspiel, kicked ass.

There were some really great things I got in the mail this week, such as Rigor Mortis #2, Revenant Magazine #0, and Zombies: Encounters with the Hungry Dead by John Skipp. I’ll tell you all about these too.

I also review 2 chicken zombie movies: Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006), and Zombeak (2006).

Brian in Colorado tells us about some more seasonal beer, and I chime in about free beer at the beer store and Sam Adams Harvest Collection.

Travis from Zombie Apocalypse NOW! checks in with us — what a great surprise!
